Blephex Treatment for Blepharitis

An in-practice deep eyelid exfoliation to remove bacterial debris and scurf from the eyelash margins.  Blephex treatment provides the ideal kick start to at-home lid hygiene.  We recommend treatment every 6 months.

The actual treatment lasts for around 10 minutes per eye.  The first step will involve moistening your eye lids with a lids wipes.  Then, a sterile micro-sponge will be placed on a motorised Blephex unit.  The sponge will rotate and gently remove debris and bacterial biofilm.  Our practitioners will photograph your eyes to show you before and ‘after’ pictures to demonstrate the impact of treatment.
